Hydraulics Field Service Engineer
About the Job:
This person will be involved in the installation, repair and retrofitting of hydraulic systems of 100 to 5,000 HP. Other duties could include installation of automation controls (including the programming of PLCs). Two year degree preferred, but not required with qualifying experience. Ability to travel is a must.
Candidates should have enough experience to know how to rig heavy pieces safely, have the ability to check sizing of any part of the hydraulic system, and be able to handle working for customers on a tight schedule.
Ideal Experience of Qualified candidates are:
Hydraulic Troubleshooting
Pervious Field Service/Traveling experience
Reading hydraulic schematics
Reading electrical prints
Knowledge of PLCs
FPA Fluid Power experience
*Must be able to pass drug test and have a good driving record.
*Travel is required for this position.
Education Requirements:
BS Degree, professional certification*, military, or trade school, plus five years field experience
