Engineers Hydraulic Application Engineer About the Hydraulic Application Engineer Job: A large global supplier of technologically advanced aerospace and industrial products designs and manufactures aerospace systems for commercial, regional, corporate and military aircraft and are a major supplier for international space programs. Their industrial products serve industries ranging from hydrocarbon, chemical and food processing to construction and mining. This position will be responsible for troubleshooting PPI Roy supplied products for customers and distributors. This role will perform pre-sale and post-sale support activities including identification of customer product needs, feasibility and performance studies, and Customer specification review. Qualified Hydralic Engineers Duties : Incumbent`s responsibilities will generally focus on one or more of the following: -Customer assistance -Sales Applications -Customer Support -Responsible for small projects or multiple tasks within functional discipline -Makes significant contribution to their team by applying their knowledge of the discipline -Works with moderate guidance on projects with short-term focus -Has a solid understanding of the fundamentals of the discipline and role continuing to develop specialized knowledge Individuals who have sales experience with a proven successful territory and technical understanding of the Hydraulic industry with knowledge of the market, products and systems. And/Or Individuals with a Hydraulic Certification or Technical Degree with knowledge of Hydraulics, Fluid Power, Electrical Motion Control/Automation components, system design, calculations and applications who have the desire to learn and succeed in a technical sales support role. Responsibilities of Hydraulic Application Engineer: -Provide complete technical and commercial support to Area Sales Managers, Master Distributors, Key and Target accounts, and direct customers when applicable. -Provide Application Engineering Expertise in Special Applications - conceptual design of special configurations, evaluation of existing designs, basic modification of existing designs, etc. -Represent PPI in customer meetings and coordinate commercial and technical negotiations. -Provide Project Management Support when required. Examples include significant projects, projects requiring special testing and inspections, or projects requiring special handling and documentation. -Utilize regular opportunities to continue education of self, as well as, coworkers - seminars, college or university courses, internal cross training, author technical papers, mentoring, etc. Requirements for Hydraulic Application Engineer: -AA/AS degree in Related Engineering Field with 5 to 10 plus years experience -BA/BS degree in Related Engineering Field with 2 to 5 plus years experience -MA/MS degree in Related Engineering Field with 0 to 2 plus years experience A comprehensive knowledge of Industrial and Municipal water treatment applications and processes is required.
