Mechanical Engineer Job: Excellent opportunity to serve as the subject matter expert and lead for design related projects. Immediate Need for a Senior Mechanical Engineer. Great Opportunity to work for a world class manufacturer.
Responsibilities:
-> Design and analysis for the development and implementation for mechanical aspects of new products, as well as upgrading and cost reduction of existing products
-> Designs mechanical assemblies, prototypes and hardware to realize new product specifications as assigned
-> Tests design and document results
-> Provides guidance to Engineers in other specialties in the areas of thermodynamics, strength of materials and fluid dynamics
-> Develops mechanical specifications for new products or product improvements in compliance with requirements of Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Administration
-> Develops specifications and designs hardware for product test fixtures
Requirements:
-> Minimum 5 years experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer
-> Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
-> Pneumatic Instrumentation experience related to strength of materials, statics, kinematics, dynamics, and fluid dynamics including small pumps, flow and pressure control and product design
-> Experience required in mid-volume small electro-chemical and electro-mechanical assemblies including Ultrasonic welding and heat sealing assembly methods
-> Proficiency in designing injection molded plastic and elastomeric parts
-> MS Project
-> Experience with Flow Control (especially with low volume flow or pressure control regulation)
-> Experience with development and-or applications experience in small mechanical systems
-> (Preferred) Experience with Gas Detection Systems, Air Sampling Pumps, Gas Detector Tubes, or Micro Air Pumps
